Holland Chorale is proud to open for America’s most renowned professional vocal ensemble. Founded in San Francisco in 1978, Chanticleer is known around the world as “an orchestra of voices” for the seamless blend of its twelve male voices ranging from countertenor to bass and its original interpretations of vocal literature, from Renaissance to jazz, and from gospel to venturesome new music. Chanticleer currently boasts two West Michigan natives among their singers!

Holland Chorale is pulling out all the stops to sing in the season of wonder. Hear beloved carols you know and love from the Chorale, along with our beloved West Michigan Children’s Choir. Sprinkle in the spectacular FRC pipe organ, and all the Chorale singing forces together in concert. Bring your outdoor voice and join in a sing-along that will be sure to get you in the holiday spirit.

We’re proud to present the first in our “Masterpieces of Sacred Music” series, beginning with the lesser performed Easter portion of the beloved oraiorio, MESSIAH. The Chorale, along with a professional chamber orchestra and world-class soloists, performs Parts II and II, including “How Beautiful Are the Feet,” “Hallelujah” (in its original order), “I Know That My Redeemer Liveth” and “The Trumpet Shall Sound.”

Join guest conductor Dr. Mark Stover (University of Michigan Faculty), 200 of our local high school singers and the Holland Chorale for this, the 6th Edition of ADVENTURES IN HARMONY. The evening showcase features the students, the Chorale and guest performers for 75 minutes of joyful singing! The showcase is free, with contributions supporting Chorale’s educational programs. “Slightly Scandalous” cabaret show is a fun and funny romp through relationships, careers, cats and marriages (several of them). The songs are jazzy, theatrical and hilarious.
