The Chorale Kids will perform once again this season in the Holland Chorale Christmas Dinners as well as Holland Chorale Presents.... They are from the Holland and surrounding areas and are chosen by audition on a yearly basis in June. Selections are made based upon singing and dancing ability along with overall stage presence. The only age requirement is that a Chorale Kid must be of seventh-grade age or younger.

Emily performed with the Holland Civic Theater production of The Littlest Angel and the Park Theater PTP as Shirley Temple. She also participates in her church Kids Choir and Kids Healing Kids. She became a Chorale Kid in 2000. |
Emily's interests include soccer, dolls, family vacations, skiing, snowboarding, Girl Scouts, reading, writing, and drawing. She has three cats and loves Shirley Temple movies. |

Erica is 10 years old and in the 4th grade. She likes to dance, sing, act, attend theatre, draw and play soccer and basketball. She plays the piano, takes ballet lessons, and sings in the Holland Area Youth Choir. She has been in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and The Wizard of Oz at the Hope Summer Rep Theatre and in The Wizard of Oz and Hansel and Gretel at the Holland Civic Theatre. |
Her favorite food is salad. Her favorite recording artist is Celine Dion. |

Hannah has always had a passion for singing and musical talent. She began listening to country music as a toddler, and has always dreamed of being a star. Her formal music training began with piano lessons at the age of 8. The Chorale Kids is an opportunity for more people than just her family to hear and enjoy her singing heart. |
Hannah’s other true desire is to be a soccer athlete. She enjoys playing year round on both indoor and outdoor teams. Her younger brother seems to be her best partner for many things. He actually joins in the songs, puts up competition on the soccer field, and helps to negotiate a meal of their favorite take-out Chinese food. Whether camping, swimming, singing, or playing soccer, Hannah always enjoys spending time with her family and friends. |

Andrea is 9 years old and is in the 4th grade. Andrea started singing solos in her church at the age of 7 years old. She has been involved in the children's church choir for the Christmas Pageants at her home church. She has also been involved in gymnastics, Cheer America, and baton twirling at an early age and loves doing any kind of physical activity (her mom says to burn off all of that extra energy). | Andrea loves melon and fruit. Andrea loves to go on the annual family camping trip. She also looks forward to GA camp for one week every summer. She enjoys just hanging out with her friends and loves to swim. She is truly a "waterbug". And of course, she loves to "perform" for her family and friends. |

Joe is the fourth member of his family to be a part of the Holland Chorale. He has done productions with Hope Summer Repertory Theater and hopes to pursue other performing activities. |
Singing and dancing , along with rollerblading and swimming are some of Joe's favorites. He is home educated and is enjoying fourth grade. |

These young people learn their wonderful dance routines under the careful
and loving direction of Natalie Huizenga and her assistant, Ellie Gramer. Natalie is a well known
dance teacher in Holland and one of the choreographers of our
Holland Chorale Presents... concert in May.
Natalie and Ellie are a big part of the Chorale Kids' success.
