OBJECTIVE #10

Maintain an active, diverse and empowered Board of Directors.

bulletDevelop ways to replace retiring Board members that will encourage fresh ideas and enthusiasm without risking the integrity of experience and continuity. The Vice President shall begin this process in October of each year.
bulletEmphasize the importance of each Board member's role in fund raising efforts.
bulletProvide each new member with a copy of the by-laws and Strategic Plan. Insure that each new member is introduced to the role and function of being a director.
bulletUtilize the Strategic Plan as a dynamic document. Require that reports and planning follow the objectives in the Plan.
bulletInvolve the directors in Chorale and community functions.
bulletAt the June Board meeting of each year there will be a review conducted of the effectiveness of the Board in meeting its responsibilities.
bulletAlso, at the June Board meeting, the Mission, Goals, Objectives and Strategies of the Five Year Strategic Plan will be reviewed, edited and extended for one year.

The Holland Chorale will provide experiential arts education through the Holland Chorale Community Enrichment Program and other events.

The Holland Chorale will consider and reflect the needs and interests of its community in all its actions.

Stability

The Holland Chorale will strengthen and sustain its long-term organizational and financial structure.
